Graduate Certificate in Organizational Change

The Graduate Certificate in Organizational Change is designed to transform competent leaders of governments, communities, and organizations into highly capable agents of organizational change.

This program can be completed online, on-campus, or a combination of the two.

Given the dynamic and complex environments of today’s organizations, the ability to lead and manage organizational change successfully is a vital skill for leaders planning and launching both short- and long-term organizational change initiatives. Many organizational change efforts fail, or fall short of their objectives, and the most cited explanation for failure is an inadequate ability to effectively lead and manage change.

Change is a constant for today’s organizations and the capacity to adapt quickly to changing environmental conditions can be a competitive advantage. Having a deep and comprehensive ability to manage and lead organizational change is a necessary skill for leaders responsible for planning and launching short- and long-term strategies.

The Graduate Certificate in Organizational change offers leaders the opportunity to develop a level of competence that helps to ensure organizational change success across different contexts in their organizations. The program curriculum features a cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary approach to understanding organizational change. Through theory exploration, case study analysis, and real-world application, participants gain a deep understanding of the organizational change process, and acquire critical change leadership abilities.

This certificate is structured so that it can be completed within nine months, allowing participants to maintain personal and professional life commitments.
