GSS: TOEFL Preparation Workshops

DESCRIPTION: This workshop series will address ways to improve the speaking and writing sections of the TOEFL iBT exam. They also provide students with test-taking strategies and teach general skills to strengthen students’ English language proficiency.

INSTRUCTOR BIO: Benjamin Floman teaches for both the College of Professional Studies (CPS) and the D'Amore-McKim School of Business (DMSB), with a full-time advising post in CPS. His background is in English language and educational training, focusing on cross-cultural communication/understanding. As part of a U.S. Department of State Fellowship, he developed and oversaw cross-cultural communication workshops in Indonesia and around Southeast Asia.
