Organic Chemistry 1
CHM2010 / 3 q.h.
Formerly CHM 4251.
Offers students the opportunity to learn the nature of carbon in organic compounds. Presents the general principles of structure, nomenclature, preparation, uses, and reactions of aliphatic hydrocarbons: alkanes, alkynes, alkenes, cycloalkanes, and stereochemistry.
