Crime Victims

Examines current theories and research relating to victims of crime and measurement of crime and victimization. Emphasizes special victim groups, such as children, the elderly, and women, and explores victim interactions with the criminal justice system. Assesses current victim initiatives such as restitution, mediation, compensation, and victim rights legislation.
