Race, Crime, and Justice

Presents an overview of the role and treatment of racial/ethnic minorities in the criminal justice system. Offers students an opportunity to learn the historical and theoretical frameworks in order to understand the relationship between race, crime, and criminal justice. Exposes students to trends and patterns in criminal offending by racial and ethnic minorities, as well as system response to such behavior.
