Offers students an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of programming in a multimedia environment. Emphasizes planning and production for interactive digital media. Using a scripting language such as Flash ActionScript as a base, covers how scripting relates to design and programming fundamentals that link logic to action. Topics include graphical user interfaces; user interaction; and algorithmic manipulation of text, graphics, sound, and video.
