Comprehensive Case Analysis

Starting with the fall 2009 term, this course will be renumbered as PTH 6900.

For this course, a comprehensive and publishable case report will be written, refined, and analyzed with integration of the components of the patient/client management model, the processes of clinical decision making, and the effective and efficient use of resources. Cases will include patients/clients from one of the four categories of conditions that make up the preferred practice patterns in the Guide to Physical Therapist Practice. This case will include information from all courses taken as part of the Doctorate in Physical Therapy and serves as a capstone for the program.
