Research Methods and Statistical Analysis

Starting with the fall 2009 term, this course will be renumbered as PTH 6200.

This course presents a computer-oriented introduction to statistical methods with applications in life science and incorporates descriptive statistics, correlation, probability and regression, and the fundamentals of statistical inference. In addition, the course will discuss the relevance of research and statistical analysis in determining the evidence for the effectiveness of physical therapy.
