Explores how carefully crafted theoretical frameworks inform the development of research questions, guide literature reviews, and serve as foundations for the design of doctoral research projects. Examines major educational theories and how they can be used to construct theoretical frameworks that support the research interests of doctoral candidates.
Prerequisites: ED 3900 Social and Cultural Analysis of Education Systems and ED 3901 Research Processes.
