Ethical Decision Making for Education Leaders

Using case studies and documents base on current events, this course considers the conflicts that can arise when pressures placed on educators and educational leaders, and the actions that result, are in conflict with the rights and well-being of teachers, learners, and their communities . The course examines actions educational leaders have taken and the consequences they have faced when confronted with ethical dilemmas. From these examinations, a personal model for ethical leadership is developed. Prereq. EdD students only.
