An understanding of these global models can better inform policy decisions, institutional strategies, and pedagogy at the micro- and macrolevels. Emphasizes topics of governance, credentialing, assessment, portability, funding, curriculum, and instruction. Examines current and emerging trends resulting from changing demographic and economic shifts, as well as varied reform initiatives.
