Emergency Medical Services 1

Provides an introduction to the Paramedic Technology Program. Introduces students to the roles and responsibilities of paramedics; medical terminology; human systems; patient assessment; blood, fluids, and electrolytes; shock; and shock management. The laboratory component offers students an opportunity to correlate didactic knowledge while developing psychomotor skills.
