Offers students an opportunity to extend their basic knowledge of computer organization with hands-on experience in the organization and operation of microcomputer systems and peripherals. Uses desktop simulation to present the operation of machine language and assembly coding. Covers the physical and electrical characteristics of various microprocessor peripherals, busses, and memory systems. Prereq. ETC 1015.
