Presents the basic principles of thermal convection, conductance, and radiation heat transfer in steady-state and transient heat transfer. Concentrates on the development of resistance network techniques to solve steady-state heat-transfer problems. Reviews the concept of lumped heat-transfer analysis and finite differences via a spreadsheet solution technique. Prereq. ETM 3313.
