Applies the basic principles of thermal convection, conductance, and radiation heat transfer in steady-state and transient heat transfer through demonstrations and lab exercises. Includes the introduction of the design of heat exchangers (including the basics of solar panels) and heat pipes, as well as the proper specification of heat exchanger systems. Prereq. ETM 3315.
