Credit Analysis and Working Capital Management

Explores both personal and business credit from the standpoints of the lender and borrower. Reviews institutional and legal aspects as a context for credit decision making. Studies credit analysis and credit management conducted by financial institutions and other business firms. Financial statement analysis is a major topic, as is working capital management, i.e., the management of cash, inventories, accounts receivable, and short-term credit arrangements by business firms. Prereq. FIN 2802.
