Examines the management of health services organizations (HSOs) and health systems from management functions, concepts, and principles to managerial roles, skills, and competencies within the context of HSOs and health systems and their external environment. Studies a comprehensive model of managing in HSOs and health systems and the increasingly important role of technology. Introduces managerial tools and techniques for managing effectively in the HSO/health systems environment.
