Studies the leadership function in a variety of organizational settings. Using a contingency approach, explores a range of possible leadership behaviors, relating the appropriateness of a particular style to a number of situational factors. Readings provide an opportunity to explore several contingency theories of leadership, and case studies allow for the application of these models. Prereq. ENG 3003, HRM 2101, MGT 1503, and junior or senior standing.
