Formerly INT 4300.
Provides students with the opportunity to explore a single theme from different perspectives such as philosophy, sociology, history, literature, the arts, and more. The truly educated individual possesses broad and deep knowledge in the humanities, social sciences, mathematics, and science and is able to address a single issue from the many perspectives that are part of a liberal arts education. Topics change each quarter, and students have the opportunity to study a single topic in depth through reading, writing, and discussion. Students may take this course more than once, provided they focus on a different topic each time. Prereq. Permission of instructor.
