Database Design and Implementation

Examines database design and implementation from the manager’s and developer’s perspective. Design theories cover relational database and object-oriented models. For practical application purposes, offers students an opportunity to create and query relational databases using SQL and Oracle. Performance topics include integrity, security, recovery, and optimization.
