Multimedia for the Web

ITC2205 / 3 q.h.
Formerly IT 4288.

Covers the history of multimedia technology, focusing on the uses of multimedia in Web site development. Examines the technical and design aspects of basic components of multimedia: text, audio, graphics, video, sound, animation, and virtual reality. Emphasizes the use of multimedia in CD-ROM applications and user interfaces. This is a hands-on course. Students practice techniques throughout the course. Prereq. ITC 1240 and ITC 2015.
