Database Web Sites with PHP/MySQL

Offers students an opportunity to learn to design Web sites that interact with relational databases. The open source language PHP is used to create Web pages that query, update, and manage MySQL databases. Emphasizes using basic PHP techniques (loops, conditionals, built-in functions) to interact with existing relational databases. All software used in the course is open source and runs on a variety of platforms. Prereq. ITC 1240.
