Covers the tools and techniques used to manage small, medium, and large programming efforts. Topics include project planning, project management tools (i.e., PERT/CPM/GANTT), estimating, and human resources management. Discusses all phases of software projects from proposal writing through postrelease maintenance issues. Offers students an opportunity to plan and develop a project that provides a practical application of the topics covered in class.
