Explores the processes used to develop sales and operations plans and the skills needed to identify and assess internal and external demand and forecasting requirements. Focuses on the importance of producing realistic, achievable master schedules that are consistent with business policies and resource constraints. Topics include demand management, sales and operations planning, master scheduling, and measuring the business plan. Provides preparation for those who wish to take the APICS examination toward earning the CPIM certification. Prereq. MGT 1001 or OPM 1130.
