Introduction to American Government

Focuses on the origins and basic principles of the U.S. federal government. Emphasizes the structure, powers, and limitations of the federal government and the role of political parties and interest groups. Examines the development of federalism and the separation of powers. An understanding of U.S. government is essential to anyone who would be part of this society.
