Government and Politics in the Middle East

Discusses political change, economic growth, and social adaptation in selected countries. The politics of the Middle East play an important role in the international political arena. Examines the emergence of the Middle East from subjection to self-assertion and focuses on topics such as Muslim fundamentalism, inter-Arab rivalries, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the relations with the West.
