Studies the president of the United States of America, the most powerful individual in the world. Discusses the power of and limitations on the office, the presidential electoral process, the president’s many constituencies, and the differing styles of presidents throughout history. Examines the constitutional and extra-constitutional powers of the office and studies presidential leadership styles. Topics include the relationships among the three branches of government, the bureaucracy, and the media.
