Statistics and Analysis in Psychology 1

Studies the ideas and procedures that allow psychologists to make rational and supportable decisions in an uncertain world. Covers distributions, graphs, central tendency, and variability. This sequence should be taken as early as possible in the students’ major curriculum, preferably immediately after PSY 1410. The psychology degree program offers students an opportunity to develop the ability to investigate empirical data, generate data through research, analyze data through statistics and other methods, and use data to test and develop theories. Prereq. MTH 2002 and PSY 1410.
