Cognition and Language

Introduces human cognition and language. Topics include pattern recognition, attention, memory, categorization, concept formation, problem solving, and aspects of cognitive development. Continues with an introduction to psycholinguistics, the nature and structure of language, its biological bases, acquisition, production, and perception. Prereq. PSY 1410.
