Juvenile Delinquency

Considers factors involved in juvenile delinquency and their implications for prevention, rehabilitation, and treatment. Offers students an opportunity to apply sociological perspectives to the issues. Topics include the modern delinquent and a historical overview of the juvenile justice system, appropriate responses to juvenile offenders, and the agencies charged with response to juvenile offenders.
