|Description||Examines the current strategy used by U.S. police. Topics include the demand for police service, police goals and mission, and the resources and tactics adopted to pursue those goals. Discusses police accountability and the measurement of effectiveness of operations. Includes an overview of the implementation and maintenance of police organizational strategy, including a definition of its elements. Reviews concepts such as leadership, structure, organizational culture, administrative and personnel processes, and budgeting.|
