|Description||Offers students an opportunity to develop the context for working with marketing professionals to implement strategy in a variety of social media, from blogs to social networking sites, and from game worlds to content communities. Social media environments have become a prime target for product and personal marketing, advertising, and supporting a brand image. But their differences from passive media and even standard websites have made it more difficult to apply traditional thinking to these digital media channels.
