Course Level CPS - Graduate
Description Designed to support student understanding of the theory, research, and practice pertaining to creating a sense of community in the classroom. Offers students an opportunity to critically examine a number of behavior management approaches and to develop practical interventions and skills for preventing and remediating behavior problems. Addresses the principles of “functional assessment” through an exploration of “responsive classroom” techniques.
