Description Explores methods for enabling children in grades 1–6 to experience the dynamics of scientific investigation as they develop their abilities to make thoughtful observation and make meaning of the results of those observations. Examines methods and materials, pedagogies, and assessment strategies that foster integrated learning across the sciences, social sciences, and humanities.
