Creating an Effective Learning Enviroment
| EDU 6172 | 5 Quarter Hours |
| Course Level | Graduate |
| Description | Offers participants an opportunity to look beyond traditional unit and lesson planning and critically explore the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, unpacking their standards, and using data from their classrooms to drive instructional planning. Participants have an opportunity to analyze instructional models and consider how each impacts what students learn, who is less likely to learn, and how to create an inclusive, accessible learning environment. As part of effective instruction, participants examine and critique their own delivery of instruction and management of a classroom, engage with peers around best practices, and reflect on how their practices impact a broad range of students and their learning outcomes.
