Social Justice and Educational Equity

Description Explores how conceptions of justice and oppression have evolved in the United States. Offers students an opportunity to examine seminal texts, analyze contemporary educational research, and explore and analyze how social justice issues inform and contribute to problems of practice in contemporary educational contexts. Instructors employ a variety of pedagogical strategies to facilitate independent and collaborative learning.
