Faith-Based Education in Democratic Society

Description Addresses the changes in the relationships between faith-based communities and democratic society as they are played out in public and private educational contexts. Emphasizes political, sociological, and historical analyses and their implications for contemporary educational leadership. Investigates controversies on forms of public funding for religious education, separation of church and state, Supreme Court decisions, and the relationship between religious communities and public policy.
