Description Examines methods for involving community residents in decision-making systems at the local level. Features ways in which residents are empowered through community-based business and economic development, health and human services, and housing and neighborhood revitalization projects. Offers students an opportunity to learn methods for facilitating community involvement, constructively engaging diverse groups of stakeholders in strategic partnerships, and building communities.
