Description Offers students an opportunity to clarify their vision of a successful professional future, identify goals to achieve that vision, and assess career growth opportunities. Explores how to frame a growth strategy using internal and external scanning mechanisms, negotiation and persuasion, research, and critical reflection. Students refine an applied research topic, perform research, develop recommendations for addressing a key performance area within their existing workplace, and create a plan for implementing their recommendations. Students review "lessons learned" and incorporate suggestions from this review to improve and finalize their integrated plan. With permission from their host organization, students may go on to implement elements of their project in a current or upcoming project, where feedback is provided from stakeholders, including their corporate sponsor. Prereq. COP 6942.
