Description Introduces the elements of IT infrastructure—systems, networks, and telecommunications. Telecommunication fundamentals include data, voice, image, and video. Covers the concepts, models, architectures, protocols, standards, and security for the design, implementation, and management of digital networks. Discusses the essentials of local area networks (LANs), metropolitan area networks (MANs), and wide area networks (WANs).
