| Description | Offers students an opportunity to understand and practice the fundamentals of editing as they apply to technical writing. Examines the role of the technical editor in business, industry, and the sciences. Topics include practice of editorial services such as proofreading, copyediting, production editing, and project editing. Covers analysis and critique of manuscripts and levels of editing and working with authors, technical writers, scientists, and engineers. Prereq. TCC 2001. |
