Starting with the fall 2009 term, this course will be renumbered as PHY 2301.

This course provides an introduction to measurement, estimating, and mechanics. Topics include kinematics and dynamics; translational motion; vectors; circular motion; gravitation; work, energy, and power; momentum; and rotational motion.

Prerequisite: MTH 4111 College Algebra 2 or MTH 4210 College Algebra
