Uses the case-study method to examine communication applications and describes methods for testing effectiveness. Specific cases deal with corporate crises and intercultural tensions. Effective organizational communication is imperative for organizational excellence. Consequently, organizations and their leaders need to be skilled communicators in a variety of contexts and, just as significantly, must be able to assess the effectiveness of their communications.
