Time-Based Media

Starting with the fall 2009 term, this course will be renumbered as DGM 6125.

An introduction to the creative potential of time-based media, exploring concepts of sequencing, transformation, and motion through time and space. Students will explore the potentials of video, 2-D, and other non-computer-based animation, motion graphics, and sound design through hands-on assignments. Issues are emphasized with examination of their relevance to a broad spectrum of applications. This course combines disciplines taught in several different introductory undergraduate courses.
