Comparative Economic Systems

Starting with the fall 2009 term, this course will be renumbered as ECN 3110.

This course studies capitalism and socialism and includes theoretical interpretations of these systems. Included in the course is an analysis of the organization and operation of the mixed capitalistic economies of the United States and Western Europe, the transitional economies of the former Soviet Union, and the economy of China.
