Needs and Competencies Assessment

Starting with the fall 2009 term, this course will be renumbered as EDU 6212.

Organizations frequently attribute employee performance issues to inadequate training or development, but assessing what the specific competency gaps are often requires both sophisticated assessment instruments and a professional understanding as to how best to address those competency gaps. This course will examine the various assessment tools and techniques that exist for assessing competencies and organizational needs. Topics include learning management systems, delivery options, learning objects, and competency assessment.
