Curriculum and Program Development

Starting with the fall 2009 term, this course will be renumbered as EDU 6213.

The majority of today’s professions require a level of content expertise and specialization that necessitates the continuous development and updating of curriculum and programs intended to prepare individuals for their respective profession. This course focuses on the curriculum development process and takes a project management view of program development. Students will learn rubrics for curriculum design and their application to course and program development.
