Provides students with an opportunity to complete a service-learning project. Covers how to conduct a community needs assessment of a community and how to develop skill and sophistication in assessing community strengths and identifying community needs. The final project requires drafting a program proposal and making policy recommendations. Prereq. Permission of instructor.
