Introduces developing Windows applications using the Visual Basic programming environment. Covers the essentials of forms, objects and properties, controls and dialogs, and event-driven programming. Discusses text and graphics processing, file-handling, and user interface design; the basics of object-based programming; and the use of the grid and data controls. The course uses Visual Basic.NET.
