Advanced Cardiopulmonary Physiology

Starting with the fall 2009 term, this course will be renumbered as RPT 7200.

Covers advanced in-depth integrated physiology of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Discusses the physiological dynamics, control mechanisms, and system interrelationships of the cardiovascular, respiratory, and kidney systems. Students make applications of advanced cardiopulmonary physiology to the management of patients requiring respiratory care services.
